Céleste au Pays des Ballons
VENDREDI 31 JANVIER, 20h
Soirée du 45ème
As bright and beautiful as the stars, Céleste, the giant puppet, has arrived from the sky to pay us a visit. A tightrope walker meets Céleste on a string more than 10 metres above the ground, and together they perform an acrobatic dance to the rhythm of live music, surrounded by illuminated hot air balloons,
During this moment, as if suspended in time, marvel at the grace and elegance of Céleste. The spellbinding melodies will accompany the movements of the puppet and the tightrope walker as they move with disconcerting ease.
The hot air balloons add a touch of poetry to this aerial performance, transporting young and old alike into an imaginary world. It's a moment of pure magic that will remain etched in the memories of all those lucky enough to attend.
Show cancelled due to rain and bad weather!
visit of balloon envelope
On the launch field, marvel at the colorful fabrics of hot air balloons. Crews first work diligently to inflate the balloons with fresh air. They are then ready to rise into the sky like soap bubbles! A burst of the burner, and takeoff is imminent.
But how about being able to touch this delicate fabric and discover the various ropes that allow the hot air balloons to soar? Enter the launch field, usually reserved for pilots, and get close to the balloon envelopes! Then, go inside the hot air balloon during its inflation. Touch its colorful fabric, understand how it operates, and capture the moment in photos!

Exhibition "The Tour of the World in 80 hot air balloons"
Discover the temporary exhibition created by Rosanna Baledda. These hot air balloons are decorative and represent the elegance of another time. The first hot air balloon flight took place in the gardens of Versailles in the presence of King Louis XVI! This balloon was azure blue and richly decorated with gold ornaments bearing the effigies of the King and Queen Marie Antoinette!
The handmade balloons are all different and made of beautiful silk and taffeta fabrics. Decorated with pearls, elements of necklaces or clocks, with golden and silver threads, the colours are bright.
This art installation is a tribute to the fantastic world of Jules Verne.
